We had organized its Annual 2019 at DDA ground, Vishwas Nagar, in association with District Magistrate East, Shahdara DLSA, CDMO East and Delhi Police, in order to encourage and empower girls and women of the society in which around 3500 girls participated and the theme of the program was ‘Kishori Shakti Jagrukta’. The primary objective of the event was to promote the awareness of reproductive health and hygiene among the adolescent girls through Cultural Activities and drawing competition. Free camps for local citizens to provide facilities of Voter ID and Adhar Card Enrollment Camp by DM Office East, Health and Hygiene Consultation Camps by CDMO East, Legal and Advocacy Consultation Camps by DLSA Shahdara and Women’s Safety Consultation Camp by Delhi Police were also arranged. Chief Guest Hon’ble District Magistrate East Shri Arun Kumar Mishra, SDLSA Secretary Ms. Vidhi Gupta Anand and Assistant Commissioner of Police Shri Virendra Kumar Sharma showered their gracious presence in the program and enhanced the self esteem of girls.
